With funds needed for childcare and transportation, this gift arrived as a beacon of light, guiding her towards a path of healing and renewal during the holiday season.

With her recent entry into our program, hope began to dawn on the horizon, but it was the unexpected Christmas blessing that rendered her speechless. Tears of disbelief mingled with overwhelming gratitude as she expressed the fact that no one had ever extended such generosity towards her.
The donation, arriving at a time of dire need, provided not just financial relief, but a profound sense of validation and support. It covered the exact amount she had lost during her recent absence from work due to health concerns, serving as a tangible reminder that she was not alone in her journey towards self-sufficiency.
The work we do every day and the situations we see and hear can be very heavy. At times, it can feel daunting when we don’t have the resources to help ALL the things that are happening. As a Christian nonprofit, we rely primarily on individual donors, churches, fundraising events, and some grants to serve those who are hurting in our community. While we steward the funds well and can solve many problems, there is never enough to deal with all the struggles our clients face. It’s hard on the heart, especially around the holidays when families just want to feel the same joys many of us are blessed to experience.
So, with the generosity of people like you, we were able to provide Christmas for our families in need who otherwise would have had little to nothing.
