My daughter was selling Girl Scout cookies in our neighborhood and a gentleman wanted to buy four boxes. She was excited about a “big” sale and told him it would be $24. He gave her a $100 bill and encouraged her to use the remainder for some fun troop activities. Her eyes were HUGE! She said thank you and “floated” the rest of the day. 🙂

The gentleman who blessed my daughter (and her troop mates) doesn’t seem to be someone with significant resources, so he isn’t writing big checks to nonprofits, but he got to practice “everyday generosity” and make a little girl’s day. I think he was probably floating too.
