I Like Helping Refugees

Our family sponsored refugees from Ukraine when the war began in 2022. We shared our home and helped one single mom process her paperwork and learn to drive. Once she began working, we provided childcare for her daughter while she worked. This helped her to save money for a vehicle and other expenses.

Having a little girl in our home brought many smiles and lots of laughter into our world. We are blessed to have this little family become part of ours, as we cannot imagine their lives had they stayed in Ukraine. We have become more compassionate toward those displaced by war.
